1976/1985 – Regional Growth
In this period, OAS executed civil construction activities (public and private clients), in the real state area (residential and commercial) and in the agro-industry, acting in the state of Bahia as well as other states in the Northeast region.
1986/1993 – National Growth and Diversification
In this phase, OAS expanded its activities to practically all regions throughout the country. This phase was marked by the great diversification of OAS´s activities, such as agro-industry (shrimp, fruits); petrochemical; environmental (garbage collection); assembly and energy (distribution of industrial gas).
1994/1998 – Concentration of new segments in oas
The group decided to concentrate in OAS its “Core Businesses” – heavy construction, environmental and industrial erection segments, due to the changes occurred in the national scenario. Therefore, worked with colligated, absorbed expertise from these areas and aggregated to its acting market.
1999/2002 – Consolidation
In this phase, the focus was the heavy construction and concession sectors. The following Concessions were aggregated Concessionária Litoral Norte (CLN), Rio Teresópolis (CRT) and Linha Amarela (LAMSA).
Since 2003 – Qualified Growth
In this phase, a greater participation in the government investments is pursued, especially in the Petroleum & Gas and Energy areas, in major Private Companies and in works bonded to Structural Programs of Federal Government. The exploration of opportunities in the International area initiates.
